Gerainger Fjord, Norway

Gerainger Fjord... more stunning photos!  Most of these photos were taken by Carrie.  She and I hiked up to the top of a waterfall where we were also able to hike down into a cove, located direct under the waterfall and behind the falling water.

Enjoy!

Before hiking up to the waterfall, we 'warmed up' with a hike to an area overlooking the fjord...

Carrie loved the goats!

We were treated to a waffle & coffee breakfast mid-way up the mountain...

This is where we are heading... it doesn't look like much, but it was steep in-between where we are standing and where we ended up... Carrie didn't want to bring her hiking poles, but I had convinced her that she should... It was a good thing we both did!...

Love this picture...

Starting to head down into a cove located under the falling water and behind the water falling...

This had reminded me of Niagara Falls...

Stunning views...

Another troll... (no, not Carrie)...

Afterwards, we went back to the boat & enjoyed laying out by the pool while everyone else was still out adventuring and/or shopping...

Waterfalls seem to be just about everywhere...

These photos were taken as we were leaving the fjord... they are called 'The Seven Sisters'...

Surprise!  Another waterfall...

The scenery reminded me of a cross between Alaska & Switzerland...
