Grocery Shopping Experiences...

This is a typical example of our grocery shopping experience...

On a recent trip to the grocery store we decided to buy some oatmeal.  While we were unable to read any of the boxes to determine which one to buy, we decided on a box labeled 'Havemout' because of the box's front cover having the recognizable Quaker logo and a picture of a familiar bowl of oatmeal.

Below are the directions printed on the side of the box.  They are listed for you in Dutch and then in the English translation that came up after I had typed these words into Google translator.  You will find that some of the words are easily recognizable, while others are... well.. not so much.

Dutch:
Havermout

Bereidingswijze

Voor 1 person:
In de magnetron
Vermeng in een ruime kom ca.
6 eetlepels havermout met 2,5 dl melk (2,5 kopje).
Verwarm dit 3-3,5 minuten bij ca. 650 watt.
Laat daarna de havermout nog even staan.  Bij gebruik van een magnetron met een ander vermogen, de tijd eventueel wat aanpassen.

English:
Oatmeal

Preparation

For 1 person:
In the microwave
Mix in a bowl approx
6 tablespoons of oatmeal with milk 2.5 dl (2.5 cup).
Heat the 3 to 3.5 minutes at about 650 watts.
Let the oatmeal for a moment. When using a microwave with another power, possibly some time to adjust.
