More things learned so far...
dogs do get sick when you change their food brand,
several trips to the grocery store are necessary each week since food items are only packaged in small containers,
it is impossible to eat only one stroopwafel,
one must make an appointment at the bank to make any account modifications/changes, including change of address to an account,
YouTube is a good resource to try and familiarize yourself with the washers & dryers - but odds are that yours will be completely different and so 'guess work' will become necessary, and
only own comfortable shoes!
